The aim of the project is to generate power from wind using dynamo.

Component description
DC MOTOR
The function of DC MOTOR is to refer to any rotary electrical machine that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy
WHITE LED
The function of the WHITE LED is to emit the light.
TinkerSpace Sensor Board
TinkerSpace board acts as brain of this project, its function is to monitor DC MOTOR and control the White LED.
Battery
5V Lithium-Ion battery is used to power-up this project
Working description
When the propeller rotates by the wind, it makes the dynamo DC motor produce electricity. This electrical energy lights up the white LED, showing that the propeller’s mechanical motion can generate electrical energy and power the light. It’s like a simple way of converting movement into light.
NOTE: DC motor is the device which converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. Dynamo is the device which converts mechanical energy to electric energy.
Circuit Design (DesignSpace)
Step 1: Connect DC MOTOR to input
Step 2: Connect WHITE LED to output 1
Step 3: Select DIRECT MODE (D) in Sensor board
Step 4: Connect supply and test project.
