SMART CHILD AND WOMEN SAFETY GADGETS

Aim

The aim of the project is to alert the authorities by sending notification in emergency situations.

Problem statement

The safety of children and women is a paramount concern in today’s society, and there is a need for innovative and effective smart gadgets to address this issue. Despite various efforts, there is still a pressing need to provide better solutions to ensure the safety of children and women in various situations. The current problem statement is to develop smart child and women safety gadgets that can address the following challenges:

Real-time Location Tracking: Create devices that can accurately track the real-time location of children and women, especially in emergency situations.

Emergency Alerts: Design gadgets that can send distress signals or alerts to predefined contacts or authorities when a child or woman is in danger or requires immediate assistance.

Safety in Public Spaces: Develop solutions that provide safety features in crowded or public spaces, including identifying potential threats and offering guidance on safe routes.

Preventing Abduction: Invent tools that can help deter or prevent child abductions and women from potentially dangerous situations.

Data Privacy and Security: Ensure that the collected data and communication are secure and respect privacy concerns.

Ease of Use and Accessibility: Make the gadgets user-friendly, easy to use, and accessible to a wide range of individuals, including children, the elderly, and those with disabilities.

Affordability: Offer cost-effective solutions that can be accessible to a broader segment of the population.

Integration with Law Enforcement: Develop features that allow seamless integration with law enforcement agencies, making it easier to respond to emergency situations.

Customization and Personalization: Provide options for customization to suit individual needs and preferences.

Long Battery Life: Ensure that the gadgets have a long-lasting battery to remain functional in emergency situations.

TinkerSpace Brain Board

TinkerSpace board acts as brain of this project, its function is to monitor Push Button and Bluetooth.

5V Lithium-Ion battery is used to power-up this project

Working description

When the push button (input) is pressed, the TinkerSpace brain board (brain) sends a notification to the smartphone via bluetooth(output) for emergency assistance.

Circuit Design (DesignSpace) PENDING

Step 1: Open TCode App -> Create New project -> Open DesignSpace

Step 2: Connect Push Button  to INPUT 1 of the Brain board.

Step 3: Connect the Bluetooth module to the Bluetooth Connector of the Brain board.

Step 4: Connect supply and test project.
