Band Decode

Aim

The aim of the Band Decode App is to provide an easy-to-use tool for students to calculate resistance values based on the color bands on resistors. By simplifying the process of decoding resistor values, the app helps enhance students’ understanding of electronics and fosters their interest in STEM subjects.

Problem statement

Students often struggle to accurately determine resistance values from the color bands on resistors, leading to confusion and errors in electronics projects. There is a need for a simple and accessible tool that simplifies this process, enabling users to quickly and accurately calculate resistance values while enhancing their understanding of electronic components.
