Aim
The app is designed to assist children in learning about objects through interactive experiences. By engaging with images and names of various objects, as well as spelling quizzes, it promotes auditory skills and literacy development in an enjoyable and educational manner.
Problem statement
Children frequently struggle to recognize and spell object names due to limited access to diverse learning resources. Traditional teaching methods for object names and sounds often lack the interactive and engaging elements crucial for young learners. Therefore, there is a need for an app that provides a multisensory learning experience, combining sound, visuals, and spelling activities to improve both the effectiveness and enjoyment of learning for kids.
Major Widgets / Extensions used used
Image: Images have been included in the app, featuring the TinkerSpace logo, an answer confirmation image, and pictures of 10 different objects to enhance the learning experience.
Label: Labels are included to display the title, instructions, object names, and a randomly generated question number.
Button: Buttons are included for “Learn Spell,” “Picture Quiz” and “Spell Quiz.” Additional buttons for “Home,” “Take Quiz,” “Exit,” “Play,” “Type” to enter answer, and “Submit” are also added.
Textbox: A textbox is added for entering the answer during the quiz.
Clock: A clock (non-visible) has been added to serve as a timer for the quiz.
Text to Speech: A text-to-speech (non-visible) component is added to announce whether the answer is correct or wrong. If the answer is wrong, it also provides the correct object name and asks questions during the quiz.

Welcome to Pick Tick—an exciting educational app created to help kids learn object names, sounds, and spellings in a fun and interactive way! Our app offers two levels: Level One lets children discover object names and test their knowledge, while Level Two challenges them with quizzes that include pictures and correct spellings of those names.
